Gundog Training in heart of the Oxfordshire countryside!
At Craigscourt Gundogs, we offer 1-to-1 lessons in both Thame and Banbury, tailored to suit every handler’s needs—from beginners just starting out, to those looking to refine techniques, solve specific challenges, or work with timid or highly excitable dogs.
In addition to private lessons, we host dynamic half-day and full-day workshops throughout the year, open to all breeds of Gundogs. Whether you're a Pet Gundog handler or aiming to compete at the highest level in Field Trials, our workshops provide the perfect environment to learn, grow, and succeed.
We train across a variety of fields, grounds, and lakes, using top-tier equipment, including hand launchers and two RRT Full-Pip Remote Dummy Launchers. These tools allow us to extend retrieving distances and build dogs’ confidence—leaving both dog and handler feeling accomplished and ready for more.
We also feature a purpose-built Jumping Box, ideal for practicing all types of retrieves and adding an exciting dimension to your training.
